Illuminating Histories™: National Inventors’ Month & National Asian and Pacific American Heritage Month
Illuminating Histories will name some of Lewis Latimer’s other inventions and honor the work of Hong Kong chemist researcher Vivian Yam Wing-Wah’s work on OLEDs (Organic light-emitting diode). We will identify where OLEDs exist in everyday items. Then we will take a light source, shine the light on an invention we are curious about in our spaces and research together who the inventor is.
