Happy Halloween! LLHM is hosting a fun filled Spooky Scavenger Hunt.

Lewis Latimer was an electrical pioneer, engineer, draftsman, inventor and artist. All over the museum he left many memories and artifacts that paint a picture of his life in Queens, NY. This Halloween, LLHM will be hosting a scavenger hunt to unleash the history hidden in this house.

This scavenger hunt pays homage to Latimer’s inventions, his poetry, his fluency in other languages and his love for creating things. Each winner will receive candy and treats. The scavenger hunt with be STEAM based, it will incorporate facts from Latimer’s life and it will use his photos and patents to tell a spooky fabricated story.
